Day by Day
Itinerary
DAY1Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Pick-up in Arusha and an afternoon game drive in Tarangire.
DAY2Tarangire to Central Serengeti
Drive via the crater highlands into the Serengeti with game viewing along the way.
DAY3Central Serengeti to the migration
Head towards the herds. Depending on the season this means the southern plains around Ndutu or the northern Serengeti near the Mara River.
DAY4With the Great Migration
A full day with the herds and the predators that follow them. In the dry season, wait at the river for a crossing.
DAY5Migration area to Central Serengeti
Final morning with the migration, then game drive back through the central Serengeti.
DAY6Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Morning game drive, then continue to the Ngorongoro highlands.
DAY7Ngorongoro Crater and return to Arusha
Crater game drive, picnic lunch and return to Arusha.
