Part of the ancient Eastern Arc Mountains, Udzungwa is a park for walkers, with rainforest trails, rare primates and the tall Sanje waterfall.
There are no roads inside the park, so everything is explored on foot. Trails lead to viewpoints and waterfalls through forest home to primates found nowhere else, including the Udzungwa red colobus and the Sanje mangabey. It pairs perfectly with a game drive in neighbouring Mikumi.
