Day by Day
Itinerary
DAY1Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Leave Arusha for Tarangire and an afternoon game drive among elephants and baobabs. Overnight in a luxury lodge overlooking the park.
DAY2Tarangire to the Serengeti
Drive via the crater highlands to the Serengeti, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive.
DAY3Serengeti exploration
A full day on the plains with your private guide, taking time with the lions, cheetahs and the herds.
DAY4Serengeti at sunrise
Optional sunrise hot-air balloon flight with a champagne breakfast (extra cost), then more game drives through the day.
DAY5Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Final Serengeti drive, then on to the Ngorongoro Crater rim for a sunset view over the caldera.
DAY6Ngorongoro Crater and return to Arusha
Morning in the crater, picnic lunch, then back to Arusha or the airport.
