Itinerary
On reaching Zanzibar International Airport or the ferry terminal, our professional driver and guide give you a warm welcome, and your Zanzibar adventure gets under way.
Stone Town, the historic cultural heart of Zanzibar and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is your first stop. On the guided walking tour you stroll along narrow lanes lined with centuries-old buildings and lively markets.
Famous sights are part of the plan too, including the Old Fort, the House of Wonders (seen from outside) and the Old Slave Market. There is also time to enjoy the beautiful architecture. carved Zanzibari doors, which tell stories of the island's rich heritage.
Once the tour is over, a scenic drive brings you to Tembo Kiwengwa on Zanzibar's east coast. You check in and spend the evening unwinding on the beach.

When breakfast is done, you head out to one of Zanzibar's well-known spice farms for a guided tour full of insight.
Zanzibar is called the "Spice Island" because cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, cardamom, turmeric and black pepper are produced here. As you stroll through the plantation, you find out how farmers grow and harvest these spices and how locals use them in cooking and traditional medicine. You can smell, taste and identify a wide range of spices, herbs and tropical fruits as you go.
Back at your hotel, the afternoon is free. Swim in the warm Indian Ocean, lie on the beach or enjoy the quiet surroundings of Kiwengwa. At extra cost we can also organise snorkeling, scuba diving, paddleboarding or a sunset dhow cruise.

Ahead of checkout there is time to unwind at the resort or take part in a beach activity if you wish, subject to your flight or ferry schedule.
