2-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Ascent, Africa’s Highest Mountain

2 Days 1 Night

Overview

Ceraa Eyes Safari, a Tanzanian operator based locally, organises this Africa Highest Mountain trek. Experienced mountain guides, porters and cooks climb with you, and we work through every detail together.

Reasons to choose our Africa Highest Mountain trek

Every Africa Highest Mountain trip we operate is tailor-made, so we can change the dates, accommodation and pace to suit you. Our local team also looks after you from arrival through to departure. Ahead of your trip, you can read about the area on the official Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) website. For further inspiration, browse our other Kilimanjaro National Park tours.

Discover the beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro on our 2-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Climb along the Marangu Route. This short trek includes a night at Mandara Hut (2,720 m). Known as the Coca-Cola Route, Marangu is the only Kilimanjaro trail with comfortable mountain huts, which makes it ideal for beginners, families and couples. It also suits anyone after a rewarding mountain experience without going all the way to the summit.

Rainforest paths and crater views

The trek starts with a hike through the lush rainforest of Kilimanjaro National Park, where giant trees, colourful birds, blue monkeys and black-and-white colobus monkeys live, and your professional guide describes the mountain's unique wildlife and ecology. Next you visit the scenic Maundi Crater, which on clear days offers sweeping views of Kibo Peak, Mawenzi Peak, the Kenyan plains and the rainforest beneath you.

You can also pair this trip with a Serengeti Safari, Ngorongoro Crater Tour or Tarangire National Park, and a Zanzibar beach holiday fits in nicely as well. Whichever you choose, this 2-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Trek is an excellent introduction to Africa's highest mountain.

At Ceraa Eyes Safari, we strongly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to feel the magic of Mount Kilimanjaro. It also brings the comfort of mountain huts and a genuine overnight trek in one of Tanzania's most famous destinations.
