International Flights
Most travellers land at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) , around 46 km from Arusha. Airlines that fly into JRO include KLM, Qatar Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways and Air Tanzania.
Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) in Dar es Salaam and Nairobi Airport (NBO) in Kenya serve as alternatives.
Airport Transfers
We arrange free airport transfers from Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport to your first night's lodging in Arusha. The drive takes about 1 hour from JRO.
Our representative will meet you holding a Ceraa Eyes Safari sign.
Pre/Post Experience Accommodation
We can book extra nights in Arusha before or after your safari (at additional cost). We suggest this for guests landing late at night or leaving early in the morning.
You stay at the Day 1 hotel (Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel), or move up to a better option.
Visa Requirements
Most visitors require a Tanzanian visa, obtainable on arrival ($50-$100 depending on nationality) or in advance via the Tanzania e-Visa portal.
Ask your local Tanzanian embassy about the specific requirements.
